Had lunch with my friend/coworker today and we geeked out over denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis. I am so going to try it!
I love new techniques. She is using it to detect different species of bacteria and I'm going to use it to separate quasispecies of a virus. And maybe I can come up with a cool diagnostic to actually detect DIFFERENT viruses.
